A Note on Our Process
At Alís, every piece of jewellery is handmade and one-of-a-kind. Unlike mass-produced items, our pieces carry the unique marks of craftsmanship. We urge you to make your selection carefully and review all photos and descriptions before purchasing.
Damages & Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@houseofalis.com with photos of the damage.
If the return is due to our mistake (damage or wrong item), Alís will cover the return shipping costs and arrange for a repair, replacement, or full refund.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products and strict hygiene standards, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on the following:
- Earrings: For hygiene reasons, all earring sales are final and cannot be returned.
- Custom & Personalised Orders: Any piece that has been made to order, resized, or engraved specifically for you cannot be returned.
- Sale Items: Items purchased on sale or using a discount code are final sale.
EU Right of Withdrawal (Change of Mind)
If you are purchasing from within the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason.
However, this right is subject to strict conditions:
- The item must be in the exact condition you received it: unworn, unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging.
- The item must not be one of the "Non-Returnable Items" listed above (e.g., Earrings).
- The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, you must contact us at hello@houseofalis.com within 14 days of receiving your item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We strictly recommend using a trackable shipping service (such as ACS or Registered Post). We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you if the refund was approved or rejected based on the condition of the item.
If approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (usually 5-10 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
